Anthony Ramsier

As a 20-year real estate finance professional, Mr. Ramsier has let the principles of integrity, work ethic, and industry acumen drive his success. Over the course of his career, Mr. Ramsier has generated over $1.5BN of debt and equity investment opportunities, with an emphasis in the for-sale residential and for-rent residential space.
Mr. Ramsier began his career in real estate finance in 2005 working for a large regional bank focusing on senior debt, junior debt, and joint venture opportunities. During this time, Mr. Ramsier originated over $500MM of senior construction loans, as well as $35MM of joint venture opportunities with regional homebuilders.
After leaving the regulated banking environment, Mr. Ramsier launched two separate private debt origination platforms, focusing on for-sale and for-rent construction loans, including middle market placements and small balance placements. During this time, Mr. Ramsier’s direct efforts resulted in nearly $400MM of total placements, and platforms that generated outsized returns for underlying institutional investors.
Subsequent to this work, Mr. Ramsier focused his efforts on direct joint venture equity placements for a prominent boutique investment firm, with a continued emphasis on middle market opportunities.
In a culmination of his past experiences, as an independent broker and capital advisor, Mr. Ramsier has used his experience as a lender and an investor to provide best-in-class service to his clientele. In this role, Mr. Ramsier has arranged and overseen the placement of over $500MM in debt and equity placements, and proudly points to his ability to attract repeat clients, many of whom use Mr. Ramsier’s services exclusively.
Prior to entering real estate finance, Mr. Ramsier was a practicing engineer who had hands-on experience implementing projects for a Fortune 100 petroleum company.
Mr. Ramsier received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, College of Engineering and a MBA from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business.

Rick is president of a Family Office investment company since 2020 with assets in CA, TX, NJ, and LA.
Directed the PIMCO/Toll Brothers owned Gibraltar Capital’s west coast office from 2019 to 2021. Provided capital for residential land banking/development opportunities.
Managing residential executive of Oaktree Capital backed Sabal Financial from 2011 - 2018. Directed the firm’s Home Builder Lending group and served as Portfolio Manager and Investment Committee Chair of properties valued at more than $1.7 billion. Sabal’s in-house teams performed underwriting, originated/serviced loans, and sold over 4,500 properties and $8.5B in distressed debt and REOs.
Prior to the above endeavors, Rick worked in the homebuilding sector for most of his career with both public and private companies. During the 1990’s, while at GE Capital, Rick utilized JV (equity and debt financing) structures to enable homebuilders to complete developments in the Pacific Southwest. From 1998 to 2009, Rick was a homebuilding principal at Bergheer California, Inc and senior executive at William Lyon Homes, Inc. working in the entitlement, development, and construction industry providing hands-on leadership in the completion of more than 5,000 homes in CA, AZ, NV, WA, and HI.
Rick received a BS in Urban Development from Arizona State University and has been a long-time council member of Urban Land Institute.
John F. Musial
Finance Specialist
Born in Hollywood, California, Mr. Musial is a third generation Californian, and has been married to his wife Linda for over 45 years. Together they have three grown sons. Since obtaining his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration at the University of Southern California, he has held a number of top executive positions with national as well as regional firms, including serving as founder, President and CEO of his own home building firm. He has over 40 years experience in the home building field, with particular emphasis on the acquisition, development, marketing and financial aspects of the business. He has been involved in residential real estate projects of all sizes and descriptions, and has had significant involvement in the conceptualization and development of master planned communities and other similar large-scale residential developments.
